BIND PROSPERITY TO THE HOUSE!
Last year I had a rather disturbing dream. I was in a place where there were a lot people, including a well renown minister. All of a sudden there was an interruption in the activity and an announcement was made that the prices were going back up. The prices in the beginning of the dream were not high at all. Matter of fact you could buy things at a very reasonable price. But by the end of the dream this had changed. I had this dream in the summer of 2007. On January 1, 2008 I had a dream about preparation. Then my armor bearer reported that God had shown her we were in spiritual warfare but the end would be good. God even gave us a strategy. Then another young prophet reported some dreams that also fell into alignment with what God was saying to us.
Finally in April 2008 the Lord gave me a dream where a bear was in the house. It was a quite disturbing dream so I asked the Lord for the meaning. At first I thought the dream was just for me, my husband and our ministry. Now I know these series of dreams are not only to warn and prepare us personally but for the body of Christ and our nation.
BEARS IN THE HOUSE!
We must remember that God does nothing without revealing it to his Prophets first. This is why it is vital that you have a man and woman of God that can hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying in this hour. It is vital that you hear personally what the Spirit of the Lord is saying in this hour. ( I am referring to the voice of the Holy Spirit and his voice alone)
As I mentioned earlier the latest dream I had, I saw a bear in the house. After asking the Lord about the dream’s meaning I came across a phrase known as the “Bear Market” on the internet. The definitions listed below will sum up all of the dreams we have had over the past 9 months.
Bear market :
- A prolonged period in which investment prices fall, accompanied by widespread pessimism.
- Prolonged period of falling stock prices.
- a market that is declining over time (a bear is seen as clawing the market down). The opposite to a bull market.
- A prolonged decline in stock prices that may occur for months or years. A bear market in bonds is usually caused by rising interest rates while a bear market in stocks is usually caused by investors who expect economic activity to decline.
- A declining market
- A market in which prices decline sharply against a background of widespread pessimism (opposite of Bull Market). Bear Markets are generally shorter in duration than Bull Markets.
- A falling market in which bears would prosper.
- A market distinguished by declining prices.
- A bear market is characterized by an extended period of declining prices, usually by 20%, in the financial markets. ...
- An extended period of declining security prices.
- A market in which traders and investors are feeling negative and prices are falling or static.
- a market in which the primary trend is down.
- A market in which prices are falling, or expected to do so.
- A prolonged decline of stock prices usually occurring over a period of months or years. May also describe a general belief by many investors ('bears') that prices are in a falling pattern.
- A market in which prices are declining. A market participant who believes prices will move lower is called a "bear". A news item is considered bearish if it is expected to result in lower prices.
- Any market in which stock prices are declining for a prolonged period, usually falling by 20% or more.
- A period during which security prices in a particular market (such as the stock market) are generally falling.
- A weak and falling market where buyers are absent
- An extended period of falling value of the overall market, accompanied by widespread pessimism.
- A period of time in which investment prices are in decline, usually in a couple industries, by fifteen to twenty percent. A bear market most commonly occurs during a recession, a time when unemployment is high, or during a time of quickly rising inflation.
- A sharp, prolonged decline in the price of stocks, usually brought on by a slowing economy. Because a bear fights by slapping downward, this term is associated with a falling market.
- A prolonged period during which market prices fall.
- A prolonged period where the market loses value. A bear market generally occurs during a perceived “weak” economy.
- a market characterized by falling prices for securities
So from these definitions we see that a “Bear Market” means rising prices, hard times, job loss, etc. In other words the economy takes a tremendous fall. Just like a bear when he fights, he fights by slapping downward (a falling market). We also find another word used in conjunction with a “Bear Market”. It is the word pessimism. Pessimism is defined as a state characterized by a negative outlook; the expectation of bad outcomes; the feeling that things will turn out badly and a general disposition, to look on the dark side and to expect the worst in all things. Currently this is the state in the lives of many believers and non-believers alike. As we are called into churches to minister we see the oppression, the hopelessness, and the fear of bad outcomes in the lives of our dear brothers and sisters. As we go to our jobs we see our co-workers saddened in expectation of the worse. What do we do in times like these?
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
I praise God that he has chosen our ministry to be a “watchman on the wall”. Chuck Pierce in his book, “When God Speaks”, gives a powerful definition of a biblical watchman:
These Prophets watched after God’s Word and had tremendous wisdom for walking through life. A watchman sees what is coming and links it to the promise of God, interceding until it is accomplished. In I Kings 18, Elijah released the word of the Lord to Ahab, which was that it would not rain for three and a half years. At the end of that time, Elijah went into intercession until he saw the cloud that represented God’s change of seasons. Elijah was acting as a watchman who prophesied God’s will and then interceded to see it accomplished. Ezekiel was called a watchman. Chuck Pierce
So watchmen play a major role in the Kingdom of God. They not only see (seers) what’s coming, they receive instructions, strategies, and solutions for what lies ahead. I mentioned earlier that my armor bearer received a directive, a strategy from the Lord. Over the years she has grown sharper and keener and what she says has been proven true time and time again. This directive was simple and very clear, BIND PROSPERITY TO THE HOUSE! It was given months before so that we would be able to counteract the plans of the enemy.
The word bind means to: adhere:
stick to firmly , make fast;
tie or secure, with or as if with a rope
wrap around with something so as to cover or enclose
tie down
Yes, times are hard right now! Yes, the economy has taken a fall. Yes, companies are downsizing! And yes, gas prices are at an all time high! But we are not without hope! Our hope, our trust, and our faith is in Jesus Christ, who is our life. Christ is prosperity. And God is saying to us today, “BIND PROSPERITY TO THE HOUSE”!! He knows exactly what’s going on and as believers we shouldn’t be shocked. He told us in the Word that in the last days these things would happen. But He also told us to be of good cheer for He has overcome the world! God is not affected by a “Bear Market”! It is impossible for the Kingdom’s economy to fall. Can we personally run low on finances? Can our storehouses become empty? Yes, they can. But this happens when we rely on a mammon system and not rely and trust in a King and Kingdom that can not and will not fail us!
Listen, I am not saying don’t be practical. Joseph in the bible told them to store up because of what was coming. So yes we need to store up but don’t hoard. There is a big difference. When one hoards it means they are governed by fear of not enough. They believe they will run out therefore they save everything for themselves concerned about no one else (pessimism). Billy Graham put it this way, “We are not cisterns made for hoarding, we are channels made for sharing”.
We may not realize this but this is a great hour that will require a God perspective. Because if our land is dark there is a need for light. Jesus Christ is that light. If our land is empty or barren it needs to be filled. If things are broken there is a need to be fixed. And if someone is hurting there is a need for healing.
Saints of God, BIND PROSPERITY TO YOUR HOUSE! Speak these words daily and continue to apply Kingdom principles of prayer and fasting, tithing, and giving. Be the light on your jobs, in your homes, with your families, and in your churches. Don’t allow God’s house to go without because you are afraid you and your family will run out. The King never runs out of resources. He knows where the harvest is so don’t try to figure this out. He designed this thing so trust Him, He knows what He is doing.
